TO WHOM BILL TO PAY?
Invoices are automatically dated by One’s system on the last day of the week of a payroll period. One sends the invoices after the payroll has taken place. As a result, there is a 3-day difference between the invoice date and receipt date. They also take this into account when sending payment reminders. One therefore sends a first payment reminder no sooner than 4 days after an invoice is due. Example with weekly payroll and invoicing: with weekly payroll and invoicing, the invoices are always dated Sunday. Because the declared hours must first be approved (by Tuesday before 12 noon at the latest) and paid out (on Wednesday), you therefore only receive the invoice on Wednesday. |
What contracts do you offer?
With One as an employer, we offer all types of contracts. Whether temping, secondment or payrolling. We work 100% digitally and paperless, including electronic signatures. One checks and inspects all placements and checks the terms of employment, employment history and working conditions; checks ID proof and requests the hirer’s remuneration from our hirer. Collective bargaining agreements and laws change quickly. One ensures that all contracts are kept up to date, does the signaling for phase counts, wage increases, law changes periodicals, pensions and communicates about these through us or directly with the candidate or client.
What region do you work in?
For now, we work mainly in the Randstad area and North Holland. Other regions are negotiable by agreement.
Do candidates already have work experience?
Many of our candidates have practiced a trade in their home countries: from nurse to electrician, from accountant to mechanic. Due to language or certification barriers, they often start at a lower level, but with the right guidance they can progress.
What certifications do you meet?
Certifications
We are aware of the responsibilities of being a professional employer. One, our back office, is registered with the SNA (Stichting Normering Arbeid), NEN 4400-1 and VCU certified. In addition, One is a member of the ABU (Algemene Bond Uitzendondernemingen).
NEN4400-1
A company that provides labor and is certified according to NEN 4400-1 distinguishes itself from rogue companies. NEN 4400-1 certified companies are set up to meet the obligations from labor. This gives clients the assurance that they run the least possible financial risk and are exempt from hirer’s liability.
ABU
An ABU member must meet high quality requirements. For example in the field of safety on the work floor, rules of conduct, employment conditions and payment of social premiums. Because we are screened periodically, quality is continuously guaranteed. Temporary employment agencies affiliated to the ABU work with the ABU collective labor agreement for temporary workers.
Stichting Normering Arbeid
The SNA seal of approval is for all temporary employment agencies and work subcontractors. In obtaining the certificate, checks are made on, among other things, tax returns and remittances, the payment of wages to employees, the prevention of risks of liability and fines arising from the hiring and on-lending/subcontracting of work. Thus, clients know that the employees they hire are paid in accordance with laws and regulations and that risks related to liability are prevented.
VCU
One holds the certificate for VCU (Safety and Health Checklist for Temporary Employment Organizations). This certification shows that we correctly support intermediaries in making placements where workplace safety is even more important. Among others in industry, construction and petrochemistry. Incidentally, an occupational health and safety checklist is required for all placements we make.
G-Account
It is important that remittances to the UWV and Tax Authorities are made correctly and on time. The use of our G-Account gives certainty in this respect. A G-Account is a blocked bank account that can only be used to make payments to the Tax Authorities.
WKA
Every quarter, the tax authorities issue One with a “Declaration of Good Payment History”. This demonstrates that, at the time of issue, the payroll tax, employee insurance and national insurance contributions have been paid by One.
